Will you accept if I say, "I love you, my friend"...
“I love you too,” is what I want to prove
But there’s less than a recess I could put in that alcove;
Like a hint of jasmine’s perfume
But can’t compass deeper in my room.

I don’t want to perplex you with time at my stake
You want an answer, a suffice I alone could make.
You’ve got Apollo for a heart, any woman could obey
But I, Venus, my powers would never betray.

I’ll tell you this like the wind’s old whisper
Please don’t judge my taste: Bitter.
Aware that I’ll hurt you, don’t gain Shylock’s anger
I might end this with my soul bartered to David Jones’ locker.

It’s hard to wipe your tears away
Knowing there’ll be no tomorrow for our yesterday.
But I’ll tell you what’s what Andre
If I’m always scared I’ll love you anyway.

I love you dear, though an angel’s sorrow
I love you, sung slow a little mellow
I love you; calling thee my “cute little bro”

I love you; I wish there’d always be tomorrow.
I love you more than you can imagine
But sorry, this’d end with anxiety
I will choose a path where our road can never end
Will you accept if I say “I love you my friend…”
