Geeky Girl: Kittys social adventure

kitty is anything far from  average. She is what you call "a bit wierd". Kitty was not interested in what most 17 year olds were into such as going to the mall or going to the movies Kitty was more interested in staying home and watching anime shows. She enjoyed reading Harry Potter books and watching lord of the rings movies, reading comic books, collecting action figures, everything!  but hold on im not sayin thats whats so wierd about her. Lots of people like that stuff. So its normal right? But Kitty however, wears t-shirts with lord of the rings ,Harry Potter and other wierd images on them. like the one with harry potter and his magic wand or the one shirt with a big ugly cat. She also wore geeky glasses too- she was a stereotypical nerd. Kittys personality was also quite wierd. She was goofy. Thats all you could say about her. People in her classes would say that she was quiet in class and is a bit of an introvert. they would also add funny comments about her clothes but they are only half right she was quiet and she did wear odd clothing but she was not an introvert. people dont really talk to her that much so thats why shes quiet but whaen shes around her family and friends she is a wild child. kitty one day was in her least favourite class which was  English class and she HATED English. James Cole who sat in the desk in front of her turned around and asked "yo,  you write all the answers for the homework so I can copy them, alright?"

"uuh, sure" Kitty said quietly. people assumed that she was some braniac because of her appearance and cause she was quiet....which was soo not the case! She failed science horribly last year and had just passed math class with a D- for goodness sakes! Kitty was finishing her work then her teacher announced to the entire class "alright guys for the assignment your writing on essay on wether or not country is better off with universal health care. I have already chosen yor partners" she held up a sheet of paper, "here is a list of who your partners are going to be. So come up and see who your partner is. EVERYBODY has to have a partner." Kitty hated this. when the teacher chose everyones partners two things would either happen...



1) The poor student who was forced to work with her would complain "oh great the teacher pairs me up with the wierd girl"

2) would beg the teacher to give them another partner. This only happened once with a guy named Darren Cole. But the guy was a total asshole so it was quite understandable.



Kitty was still very bitter about it though. She hates him. Kitty would have liked it better if everybody weren't forced to work with someone. That way everyone can work with whomever and Kitty could work by herself and avoid the humiliation. Kitty decided not to go up and take glance at the list. Instead, she waited at her desk and looked up at all the kids that did. That way she  can find out who her partner is based on their reaction. If it was a good or an ok reaction then it wasn't them. If it was a bad reaction then ... well... you get the idea. Kitty waited and waited. strangely nobody had a bad reaction yet. Kitty still waited. After all the others finished looking  everyone scattered around the classroom to sit with their partners. a voice then said "Hey Kitty I guess you and I are partners". Kitty was so startled she almost jumped out of her seat. The vioce came from Mecca Solaris. He was one of the most cutest...what am I saying! one of the  the HOTTEST guys in school! He was tanned, black sexy hair, and a cute face he surprised kitty. Why? because people don't remember who the heck Catherine (kitty's real name) is. and he knows her nickname too?! wow she was surprised he remembered her name. People only knew her for her wierdness, or maybe that why he remembers her. Mecca was a really nice guy. Alot of girls liked him Kitty knew that he was a very cute guy but she never really liked him (her true love is Harry Potter). "Okay I was thinkin maybe we should both do our essay on Human nature What do you think?" He said. Kitty finally blurted out, "Oh, okay  I like that idea."

kitty went straight home after school that day. She called her best friend Casey. "Hello?" Casey answered. "Hey Casey its Kitty cat callin" kitty said, "how was your day?" "it was good. Today we watched The Wizard of Oz in science class. how was your day?" casey asked Kitty could say "well, my teacher partnered me up with Mecca who surprisingly didnt complain about being my partner." instead she said " I had a good day. You know Mecca Solaris? Well he is my partner for some dumb English assignment." "Oh I see" Casey said. "he's comming over to my house tonight so we can work on it together." Kitty explained, "gotta tidy up" "alright then, guess ill talk to you later then" said Casey. " okay see ya later, alligator." said kitty and they both hung up. Mecca came to Kitty's house that night at 6pm. Kitty's parents were heading out to a dinner party at that time. " Kitten make sure u make him feel at home" Kitty's mom said (yeah right not only was Mecca cute he was rich! had a big house!). how could he make himself feel comfy with a small house like this? Kitty's mom whispered to her "try not to act wierd."  "yes mom" Kitty said rollng he eyes in a goofy way. There was no hope for her. Even her parents knew she was "odd." "dont worry Mrs.Gonzalez me and Kitty will be very good" said Mecca. "that's good to hear" said Mr. Gonzalez, Kitty's dad. as if they had anything to worry about! It was kittty for goodness sake! wat is she gonna do with some boy? And its highly unlikely that Mecca is actually interested in HER. Anywayz after Mr. and Mrs. Gonzalez left the house Kitty and Mecca both worked on the assignment. Kitty and Mecca worked on it for 2 hours and then they were finshed. "I told my parents that ill be out till 10:00 so.. I dont plan on going home till then" He said. "Then what r u going to do till then?" Kitty asked. "I'll chill here" he said. "not much u can do here" she replied. "We can talk" he said. Just great! now if they talk about stuff Kitty will "act wierd" and Mecca will think she's the ultimate wierdo. "I see that you're a huge fan of Harry Potter" he said looking at her collection of Harry Potter action figures in her room. "go on, make fun of me" Kitty said. "No really! I actually love Harry Potter I have all 7 books in my room!" he said. Kitty and Mecca later on had discussed about Harry Potter, The chronicles of Narnia and so much more in a hour They had also watched a little bit of the Lord Of The Rings too. Kitty didn't realize ow much fun they were having. " i didnt know he was into the kind of stuff i like" kitty thought and Mecca didn't think Kitty was so talkative and funny before but now she's actually interesting. It was 11:00pm. Mecca still didn't leave kittys house. "man, my parents are gonna kill me ." he said "see I told u" Kitty said. "Whatever" Mecca said "He grinned. Kitty fell in love with his beautiful smile. "Well im really sleepy" Kitty said. "at 11:00?" he asked. "thats late for some people" kitty said trying to prove a point. "dont sleep now" he said. She layed down on her bed. "I'm falling asleeeeep" she said, trying to do the opposite of what he wanted. Mecca hopped on the bed and layed beside her.  "I'm sleeping too then" he said. "Hey get off my bed you cant do that!" she yelled.  "sure I can" he said. He slid himself closer and closer to kitty. She tried to push herself further away from him. Why was he comming so close? His cell phone then rang which startled them. Mecca answered his phone, "hello?". "Hey Meckie." It was Lina. Mecca's girlfriend. She was a very pretty girl. She had alot of friends and she always wore stylish clothes. Lina and Mecca were known as the cutest little couple in school and that they were inseparable...After all... they're always making out in front of Lina's locker before every class. "Mecca where are you? I called your house but you werent there!" Lina said. "Im at Catherine Gonzalez's house" He answered. "we're doing our English assignment together." "who's Catherine?" she asked. "you know ... .... she's in our French class .... wears glasses .... the one who REALLY likes the lord of the rings?" Ooooh that girl. Okay then I'll talk to you later. bye babe!" Lina said. Of course shes not worried. It was KITTY for goodness sakes! If it was some really hot girl that was with Mecca, Lina would be furious! Mecca rolled his eyes as he shoved his cell phone in his pocket. Kitty stared at him. "Was that your girlfriend ?" she asked."Yeah" he said, "She always wants me to be with her and when im not there she cant go 3 seconds without calling me!" "She hasnt called you for the whole 6 hours you were here!" Kitty said. "yeah but she left me 30 text messages" he said. Kitty didn't believe that but she looked at  his phone and it was true. "She won't be bothering us anymore" he said. They were both still lying on kitty's bed. It was silent. Kitty had  turned her body and faced herself away from Mecca.  Mecca continued to move closer to her. HE wrapped his arm around her waist. Kitty didnt know what was happening."what the heck is he doing?" she thought, "Okay, I gotta stop this! this is getting wierd!...he's just kidding. yeah or course!". Mecca rolled kitty so she can face him again. Kitty felt too awkward to say anything. "he's just joking around!" she thought to herself. He moved his face closer to her's. Just.. a funny.... joke. His lips finally touched hers. "OMG! i cant beleive this is happening i dont even know how to kiss!" Kitty thought. He held her waist tight and kitty closed her eyes. Her first kiss and she wanted it to be over soon- not that she didnt like it. Then Kitty quickly sat up. "Okay Mecca you know what this is really NOT a good idea so maybe... you.. should leave" she said and she pushed him away. To her surprise he agreed and he left her house. Kitty had, since then, been thinking about this event nonstop for 2 days. For 2 days Harry Potter, Lord of the rings, Narnia, nothing seemed to matter to her as much anymore. And for those two days she hadn't seen him. when she spots him in the hallways at their school she would try to avoid him. One day however kitty was forced to pass by him since he was standing near her next class. But at that time kitty was at an advantage because Mecca didn't notice her which was great but...Mecca had been too busy making out with Lina passionately to event notice that anybody was even there. Kitty didn't say anything. and walked right into her classroom "it...doesnt bother me ..." she thought to herself. "It really doesn't bother me at all... I dont care .... he's not my boyfriend... he's hers... so it doesnt bother me."
