poetry about passion
My passions fall around me.
Teardrops soak into my skin.
The world around me crumbles.
I am on the outside
Wishing only to see in.

The walls are unpainted
Only white and dull like cotton,
But the air that sweeps around me
Full of love--
It’s been forgotten.

The days pass like the wind,
No one notices them.
Each should be cherished,
But each is unworthy.
But people keep passing by in life.
They don’t know their own story.

The fan is high above me
But I cannot feel its air.
The dark is frightening
I wish you would have never left me there.

It trembles in my bones,
This unforgotten fear,
And I spend the days wishing
That you could be here.

I look at the photo
Hanging on the wall
You could see only us
But only I could see the fall.
Now you’re gone forever
But I can’t seem to let go.
This forbidden love we have
Will always linger here.
