mental reservations
"This is peacefull. I like a crackling fire." Pip wondered,
"If a question is kept in the mind is it ever anwered?"
The tiny hollow of his tree filled with light. "Does an immortal
doubt fate?" It was Aurora the Goddess of twilight. Pip flew
up off his bed of leaves. He was a feary, but no match for a
Goddess. "I do not know. The day of judgement. I only thought
it odd to wait so long for Divine Provodence." Pip bowed.

"Only the Gods may weave the threads of fate. Resistence is
an illusion." Aurora spoke without a word. Pip shook his wings,
"The Gods are no respecter of persons to let suffering continue."
Pip flew back and forth. Aurora caught him in a globe of light,
"Believe in the Gods, and I care not what you do. Do right, and
I care not what you believe. You are nothing without the Gods."

Pip returned to his bed of leaves. The dawn had broke and with it
Aurora vanished. "A good deed deserves a reward. I will enchant
a maden and make merry with her." Pip laughed and flew out of
his hollow into the smoldering fields.

      Miso Soup

Miso soup is fermented soybeans that inhibits capillary tumor growth.

After the World War II atom bombing of Nagasaki and Hiroshima many
techniques were used for radiation poisoning. Dr. Tatsuichiro Akizuki
proscribed, "A diet of brown rice, misco soup, seaweed, regular vegitables
and sea salt and no sugar consumption." All of Dr. Akizuki's patients
      survived the atomic bomb's radiation.

      Saint Cloitus, Queen.

It is a fundamental maxim of the Christian faith that sufferings and
mortification are the road to eternal bliss.+
"What must I do to be saved?" Queen Cloitus prayed. Hers was a life
of ease. Seeking humble kindmenship she disguised herself as a serving
maid. Her royal husband King Gondebald inquired for his beautiful and pious
Queen. She left word with her daughter Blandina that she was on pilgrimage
      to Lourdes.
Within the month the Great King summoned the maids of his palace to his
royal chambers. Queen Cloitus was amongst them. "If anyone would be my
wife let her prove herself." King Gondebald commanded. At once maids were
wreastling to reach the King. Without wavering Queen Cloitus spoke, "Is this
the grace or wit of royal marriage?"
The maids descended upon her: stripping her of her modest garments. "My Queen!"
the King exclaimed. Holding his Queen; he order the maids to be hanged.
"Master! How could we have known?!" the maids pleaded. But true faith is found in
the love of God, not in the amusement of Kings. Saint Cloitus decreed that the
maids be hanged outside the royal chamber windows. As the Queen sweetened
the King's affections she watched the maids feed the ravens, "Fly away vain
      youth! Fly away defiant eyes!"

      The Path is Crooked

What you fear is what I fear for you.
The night is a land full of secret habitation.
Show me the way. Take my hand.

Let me press my face to yours.
      Do you believe me?
