This poem is about the cruel acts that humanity does to the earth.
Shadows of the world's own past
Of beauty and of peaceful tranquility
Sing of loss and sorrow, of sacrilege.
Their tears fall down like rain
Rain that burns where it falls.

In the distance
One Song overshadows them all.

Oh young loner! you wail.
Why do you weep?
You are beautiful
And have a whole life to spend.

I weep for my loved ones
All crossed over
Their songs of joy forgotten.

I weep for the loss of the world-
For it lives now in death.

The blossoms of the wild earth
And smells of the purest variety
Have died.
Have been forgotten.
Indeed, they have never been known to you.

And you, child-
I weep for your limitations.
Though your heart is pure and moral
You are dissuaded from action.
You believe that you are powerless to heal
And to fight injustice
Caught as you are in a web of lies
And of decadence.

Thus says I-
The Child of the Wind.
