This is my memories
I remember all the times we laughed
Laughing our troubles away
Pushing them to the side
Almost eight months of pefection
And now this.
I remember the first time we kissed
You and I had no idea it was going to happen
We couldn't stop smiling afterwards
We couldn't let that happy feeling go
You used to always tell me, I love you
You used to tell me, you're beautiful
And now this.
The way we met, must have been fate
The way you asked me to be yours must have been meant to be
Because in reality there has never been such a ideal match for me
There has never been someone who understood me on every level
Our only issue was a slight age difference
Our only obstacle was a slightly dictatorial father
Both things we worked around for almost eight months
And now this.
I do not regret the love I feel
I regret recklessly loving
Not being cautious of my heart
Because I never once thought you'd leave me
I never once thought it would come to this
On a happy note, I know you loved me
I'm not sure now
But I know that at one time you did
With all your heart
It was evident in the way you held me, looked at me, and kissed me softly.
Yet I still fail to comprehend why all that..
And now this?
