This poem is dedicated to someone who lost their father.
Burr! Burr! Burr!

What is theis I hear?

Could it be my father out at sea drawing near?

The Captain of the sea,

Blow you horn and signal me.

For your teaching is overdue.

I descend from inspiration without you.



Soon the day will come

When you and I would be reunited as one.

As your spirit lives in the world,

I am conjoined also to your spirit.

Your body have perished,

And I am only left to only imagine of thee.



Someday the horn will no longer bare a sound to signal me,

For when that day comes I'll be next to you

And you to me.

The Captain of the Sea.
