Forever, In Love

So there's this boy
of course there is.
I don't know what to say
except that my heart is his.

No matter how hard I try
I can't move on.
My love is only for him
why can't he see that?

So everyday at school
I watch him fall in love.
She says she loves him
but her heart beats alone.

One day I find my courage
tell him I love him.
He laughs in my hopeful face
and I watch my heart shatter.
