I was told I couldn’t so I tried something new,

I was told I was too small so I grew.

I was told not jump so I walked off the edge,

I was told the greens are rough so I whipped out a wedge.

I was told to be polite even when others are not,

I was told I could but not to get caught.

I was told two when the others got three,

I was told to pay even if it was free.

I was told the worlds moving fast so I slowed up,

I was told dogs can be a hassle so I got a pup.

I was told to not get close so I walked around,

I was told to be quite so I made a sound.

I was told to fight but I had nothing to believe,

I was told not to wreck and that’s why I weave.

Above all I was told to always be me,

Well I was told something different so we will wait and see.
