A lyrical ballad and mere fantasy
I saw my love in a dream last night
In a state of slumber I did fantasize
Alongside on the road we both walked
Then a couple of questions you did ask:
Will you ever leaveth me my dearest one
Then looking into your eyes I said no
Again you sadly asked if I'll die
And God forbid I promptly answered
To assureth thee straight that I'll live.
Quite sad at that though you became
And touching thy tummy you stated thus:
Someone gave me a poison my fairest lady
So quite worried of dying or living I am
Thy person owns not thy life my bravest hero
So of befitting hope, you'll surely live.
Swiftly then, you held my waist
And cried I died not and leaveth thee
I consoled thee thus with words of hope
Promising thee always to be by thy side.
We kept quiet thus, about to kiss
And rising up straight I swiftly woke
To happily discover it to be a dream.
