In honor of a Springsteen birthday.
Bruce's Birthday Ditty

On your birthday Bruce, they said you were born to run
Is that brilliant disguise or are you just having fun?
You've had your glory days, you're tougher than the rest
I'm on fire! You're magic! You're the best!
Come play in my hometown, I'm a Jersey girl!
Forget the streets of Philadelphia, come give us a whirl.
Drive down by the river, past Thunder Road
(Don't be afraid of the ghost of Tom Joad)
Cruise that pink cadillac to Cadillac Ranch
It's a long walk home, don't run over a branch.
We'll hang out with John Henry and that Rosalita chick
Sherry Darling too, better get here quick!
So I'll tell you point blank, you're a saint in the city
Happy Birthday Bruce, hope you like my little ditty.
