The needs of our hearts, whether we are young or old, are not too different.
When I was young I used to laugh,
My heart was happy
Now I’m older and still I laugh,
I have children
When I was young I used to cry
My heart was sad
Now I’m older and still I cry,
I have goals
When I was young I used to play,
My heart was open
Now I’m older and still I play,
I have friends
When I was young I used to dance,
My heart was beating
Now I’m older and still I dance,
I have a companion.
