While eating guacamole,
it occurred to me
addiction
was much
like whack-a-mole!

was . . . . nice word . . .

When I stopped my smoking,
I started eating.
When I stopped my eating,
I started drinking,
when I stopped my drinking,
started running,
shin splinters,
television,
broken tv,
smoking,
stopped smoking,
started toking—

and when I stopped
my
toking—

I started choking.

Do we EVER
get rid of these damned
addictions?

Hey—
wait a minute—

Is choking an addiction?

Or did I just die?

Damned guacamole!

Oh well, so much
for addictions.
