He says he wants the girl who can dance to the sound of a washing machine,

He says he wants the girl who can open two beers and imagine them kissing,

He says he wants the girl who can hear the sounds of the ocean in cars as they pass by,

He says he wants the girl who can laugh and smile the days troubles away,

He says he wants the girl who can embrace life with the innocent faith of a child yet live as a woman,

He says he wants the girl who has survived some of life’s toughest trials and found wisdom from it all,

He says he wants the girl who'd rather take on life with a fierceness that’s rare,

He says he wants the girl who'd rather smile than cry,

He says he wants the girl who'd rather fight than run,

He says he wants the girl who made him open his eyes to see,

He says he wants...

Me.

An innocent?

Me.

A girl?

Me.

A woman?

Me.

A lover?

Me.

A fighter?

Me.

As I am?

Quirky, loving, stubborn, kind, silly, gullible, fun, analytical, klutzy, sexy, complicated, intelligent, obsessive, compassionate, crazy, unique, beautiful, curious, incredible…
