I Spoke With God

I spoke with God the other night
and though I didn't hear a reply,
I trust that he was listening
and my faith is the reason why.

I asked that he once again
bring you back to me,
just like before when I was lost
he knew you were the key.

I promised that I would take better care
of the one I love so much,
and just as I fell to my knees
I felt his holy touch.

I believe that God will heal
and bring you home to me,
I know God is our Savior
and Jesus is the key.
