Tropical Isle Ecstasy

Warm white sand
sifts between our toes.
Gentle waves
caress the beach shore.
A soothing, lush
ocean breeze blows;
we've never been so
in love before.

Beneath the towering
palm trees,
we lie together
in the shade.
The balmy day
passes with ease
soft and slow like
the love we've made.

A steel drum band
begins to play
as the sky explodes
with color.
Sunset becomes
a golden display
we long to share
with each other.

Stars adorn
an ebony sky
during our
candlelight dinner.
Afterwards we watch
the passersby,
then stroll the beach
as the crowd grows thinner.

We find a quiet,
private spot
to cuddle and kiss
beneath the moon,
until our passion
grows red hot
and we retire
to our room, soon.

Behind the comfort
of closed door,
we climb to
pleasureable heights,
taking but giving
so much more,
as we'd done
on previous nights.

By the time
our rendevous ends,
our love has
grown even stronger.
Patient lovers
as well as friends.
We are hearts
apart no longer.

Our tropical
isle fantasy
