This poem is about life, death, and rebirth.
And oblivion at once laid her cares to rest,
Blessed all her unfaithful dreams, buried all her vivid grace, and cleansed her person for holy thing,
Then carried her mind till left afloat above the gardens and wicked streams and asked upon her the heaviest of weights,
Was this life all you dreamed it to be?
And the vessels flame that burned so bright and was left to lay adim,
After the question asked her twice, the vessels flame burned brighter still.
