Always Dreaming

As she lays in her bed
When her mind won't sleep
She dreams of a place far away
A place where flowers are fairies
And stones are turtles
A place where the sky never ends
This is her fantasial place
With turquoise water falls
And snow white clouds
She allows herself to escape
And gets lost in all her thoughts
The feathery emerald grass
Tickles the length of her toes
And just when she thinks
That she has nothing left
She falls into her abyss
