this is slightly on the dark side
In the back of my mind, I find memories of enemies and victims that stepped to me and I can’t believe I’ve become this, so use to the numbness, perceiving the darkness as bliss. I pray for one more kiss from your poison lips and to taste the venom you spit, even though it makes me sick, strait to the pit, of my gut but I won’t give up even as the darkness fills me up. I try not to fall apart as a longing fills my heart it only grows deeper as we drift apart, without you it feels like I’m an insomniac stuck in the dark. Then the light slips in and the memories begin to thin as I fall into sleep and the nightmares begin, leaving me hoping to see you when I come back again.
