A poem about love and art. Published: aCoYP Fall 2007.

Like a finger on frozen glass (makes a smear that lasts)
So love has marked my soul (your love alone)
And if Jack Frost is an artist (you are my Da Vinci)
His touch (your Smile)
is an impression (on my world)
I wish color could speak (for me)
Turn grey into violet (your heart)
Oh, how you've sculpted! (my heart)
But like the wind, (nature's Monet)
My courage blows away (to build in strength)
and goes away (but I'd let you know)
If I were Anne Frank (and you were a diary)
Every page
Would be full.

Read it with and without brackets - is the meaning different?
