True love expressed in a single kiss
They met in an odd way. The phone call introduction turned into several weeks of two and three hour conversations. When they finally met face to face it was inevitable that they fell in love. Sharon was beautiful, long reddish blonde hair with a little curl to it, sharp green eyes and a smile that just knocked Ed of his feet. She had the voice of an angel and the look to go with it.

Ed was a tall handsome man with a bit of a devilish grin and curly black hair that Sharon loved.

They began dating within a week or two of that first meeting and were so in love that even school work began to slip.

When Ed thought of Sharon, which was all the time, he could see a soft, radiant glow about her. She was his queen and he intended to show her that. He was so gentle with her, as if he was handling the most fragile thing on earth. He loved her softness.

Sharon thought the sun and moon rose in Ed. He treated her with respect and a dignity that she had never experienced before. The gentleness of his touch and how he doted on her just made her love him even more.

Ed was rather inexperienced with women. Oh sure, he had several girlfriends before, but nothing compared to this. His world revolved around Sharon. He wanted her to know that he loved her more than life itself. Try as he might, he could never seem to say just the right words to tell her, then came the day of their first kiss.

It was a beautiful spring day in upper state New York. The sun was out, about 75 degrees and a gentle wind blowing through the trees just behind them. The grass was uncut so it was a little tall and the sweet scent of spring was in the air. It was the kind of day that all love stories are written around.

The shade of the enormous trees was covering them as they lay on the grass on the blanket they had brought along. Sharon, laying on her back with Ed’s hand in hers, began talking about the future and what she looked forward to. She wanted to be a nurse and was deep in thought of their lives together as she worked in the hospital just a few miles from where they now lay.

Ed could not focus. He was so lost in her that everything else was a thousand miles away. He knew he would marry her and raise a family. As he listened to Sharon describe how it would be then, he found himself lost in daydreams about it. He wondered how close she was painting the picture to what would really happen.

At that moment he looked into her eyes. The emotion was so overwhelming he almost began to cry. He saw a depth of love he had never seen before. He saw his own love reflected in her eyes. He wanted to crawl inside and stay there forever. For a few moments they just gazed at each other with a love that was so thick you could cut it with a knife.

Ed had to kiss her; he had to taste those sweet lips. Her lips were perfect, the kind you only see in adds with airbrushed women in them. Hers were real and he wanted to kiss them. He gently edged his way close enough to kiss her and put his arm around her waist. Over her waist would probably be a better description. He looked into her eyes for a long moment and bent to kiss her.

He had kissed a lot of girls before but this one was like the first time. He wanted to convey his undying love for her through this one kiss. As he brought his lips closer to hers she raised to meet him.

Their lips met with all the electricity of a lightning bolt. Ed gently put his lips against hers and as lightly as he could, began kissing her mouth. Several times he kissed her lips as he began gingerly caressing her beautiful face.

After a few minutes he slid his hand to the back of her head and kissed her once again. This time he began to press his tongue against her lips, to which she opened to let him in. He felt sensations he had never felt before. As he touched her lips with his he began to explore the inside of her mouth. He tasted her tongue and felt shivers run down his spine.

As he probed and explored he realized that there wasn’t another woman in the world that he could love like he loved her. His desire for her burned into every cell of his being. He wanted to find a way for the two to become one literally.

They kissed for what could have been an eternity when finally they separated. Sharon’s face was aglow and red with desire as was Eds. He bent his head down and kissed her neck a few times and whispered “I love you”. And he gently lay his head on her shoulder as they lay there together.
