My uncle died so i wrote this for his funeral.
We love him.
We cherish him.
He is our hero.
All the hard times he’s gone through
And still has the will to push on.
He always said,
“At least I can kiss my kids goodnight.”
We remember all the good times…
Dressing up as Santa Clause, I’ll always remember.
He and Uncle Curt
Our Santa Clauses…
All the family reunions, all the picnics,
Yes, all the beer our family drank
It still amazes me how funny people are when they have a beer in their hand.
So many memories…
Now at the end,
We all gather
For one last reunion, one last picnic.
To make more memories in His memory.
One last goodbye.
We all miss him very much.
Because he is a Husband, Father, Son, Brother, and Uncle.
Because he is our
“Vernon Clemence Haman”
We love him very much.
But even though we are sad and he is gone
His memory will always live on.
We will always remember his famous words.
He would want us to:
“Keep Moving Forward.”
