A poem about an unrequited love
I can't try and think about what you're saying.
You carry on talking, an unchanging drone,
I've run out of things to tell you, you know.
You're not the one I want.
I'm sorry,
So sorry because I once felt it ...

I don't want you.

Seeing just tiny bits
Of this wonder
That is normality,
Sends my heart into fifth gear,
And you're just a miniscule-
Half of a milimetre
Beyond my fingertips.

Do you realise how frustrating-
How absolutely infuriating it is?

We're separated by paper.

I feel like screaming it at you.
Paper!

Weak, thin, destructable...

We always will be.
As long as I am here
As long as I live
Whatever happens...

We can deny, for so long ...

I'll love you. For always.
