Lost Forever

Lost inside the labyrinth of my soul,
I search for a path to freedom.
Trapped in the mindless insanity,
I struggle to break from.

Those whom I love keep me blocked,
not realizing the damage they cause.
Those whom I love,
don't love me enough to see.

I loosen the chain,
just an inch.
A moment passes,
It's suffocating me again.

My mentality is quickly
disappearing.
Tirelessly changing,
me, into a stranger.

Doubts of ever loosening
the ever tightening knot.
Knowledge of the future,
dawning on my heart.

Every day, every moment,
I fight those who steal my breath.

So close to myself,
I know I am.
Closer to being lost,
forever. I know I am.
