A poem about depression, and God's forgiveness
Everyday I lay alone, crying
hoping another day won't come to pass
    wishing that I didn't exist
wishing I didn't live in hell
hoping someone will set me free
and get me out of this prison
I'm stuck in my mind and can't seem to escape
no matter how hard I try
no matter how loud i scream
      no one comes
    no one cares
  no one, understands
I hate this!
  Why won't anyone help me
Why won't anyone let me out
      Somebody! anybody!
        Please let me out
          Please!
I don't want to be here anymore
          Please!
God help me, forgive me, Please....
      freedom! At Last!
    free to smell the flowers,
to hear the leaves rustle on the trees,
to watch the sunset sink beneath the earth,
to taste the apple in my mouth,
and to feel the warm sun on my face
      There was always someone there
        I just didn't notice hi
sometimes we have to be knocked down to our lowest
to smell, hear, see, taste, and, feel the obvious
