Mothers Day

God made some special angels
With wings that you can't see.
I've known one of them all my life
She lives at home with me.

She loves me and takes care of me
Makes everything alright
She taught me how to brush my teeth
And say my prayers at night.

I've never seen her play a harp
Or fly up in the air,
But I'm glad God sent her down to earth
And placed me in her care.

She gives me hugs and kisses.
She shows me right from wrong.
She makes those special memories
That will last my whole life long

I thank God for His special gift,
And I'm glad that I can say,
To my wondrous, wingless Angel,
A Happy Mother's Day.
