Snow Crystals

                             
                                Shimmery, shiny flakes of snow,
                                Fall through the trees to the ground
                                        below,
                                Where winter is making a beautiful
                                        show,
                                Of ice and crystals combined with
                                        snow.
                                A little bird goes flying by,
                                In hopes of perching somewhere high.
                                Into the trees all frozen stiff,
                                And drops into an icy drift.
