Deep

Watch the spectacle as I dig myself deeper into my hole

but try not to interfere, lest i drag you down with me.

Though I cannot exactly pinpoint what ales me,

I know it roots deep and winding into the core of my being,

ever trying to come up for air, but more so trying to bury me down to suffocate with it.

A trap has been set, and although i set the spring-

I know not how to avoid it

I can only hope to be the only one left groping for light

at the bottom of the pit.

I only fear taking down the ones I care for with me,

for I am an expert at the skill of alluring prey

however innocent, into my hopelessness
