Don’t you miss the good old days
When there was no work
And there was always time to play?
What happened to the world
As we went through the years?
Suddenly guns were brought to school
And everyone lived in fear.
Bombings happen everywhere
And wars start over nothing.
This is what the kids in the future look forward to?
Maybe every generation DOES blame the one before
For their frustrations and what happened to the world.
Maybe the blame is passed for good reason.
Who taught their children all the wrong things
If they taught them anything at all?
This new world needs help.
But who will help it?
