A Poem about me not being able to write.
I've fell off the radar,
dropped off the face of the planet,
found a deep dark cave and crawled in,
so dark and so secluded,
my mind was my own worst enemy,
couldn't see, couldn't think,
I just couldn't be,
the only thing that brought me comfort,
was slowly driving me insane,
like all the greats before me,
I had fell into a deep dark state of mind,
no words spoken, or written,
I found myself with the writer's depression,
twiddling my thumbs madly,
looking down at the blank piece of paper,
my thoughts and dreams,
they should be on that piece of paper,
they should flow like a cheap wine,
I would lay awake night after night,
just hoping for a spark of inspiration,
that spark would never come,
I'd look into the abyss of my mind,
I'd drift slowly off into another world,
it's just my writer's depression that's got a hold of me,
one day soon I'll raise again,
just like the phoenix that I am,
