hope has a laugh.
Hope is as happy
as any hope is.

Hope has a frown
hope has a tear.
Hope is as sad
as any hope is.

Hope has a grin
hope has a grimace.
Hope is as normal
as any hope is.

Hope doesn't hide
hope doesn't come out.
Hope is just here
as all hope is.

Hope doesn't float
hope doesn't sink.
Hope is just gone
as all my hope is.

Hope is no not
hope was never.
Hope is near
as all my hope is.

Hope was lost
hope couldn't come back.
Hope was blind
as all hope is.

Hope ran wild
hope stood in a cage.
Hope was as drunk
as any hope is.

Hope heard a sound
hope sniffed the air.
Hope is as alive
as any hope is.

Hope has been found
hope never left.
Hope is as bright now
as any hope is.
