I'm suggesting a little exercise for those who have some time before the next assignment. I'm going to give you forty words to combine. You may add articles and prepositions, but that's all! Oh, and punctuation too. Repetions are allowed. You will probably see that the difference between the Emily freeform poetry generator and your poem is intention. And intention is not randomness, it is quite the opposite. Even a very experimental poem written with a limited amount of words carries the author's purpose. What's your opinion?

Neglected laughs softly cradle shame.

This was a difficult task. It is amazing how much time it took to write 40 words. Yes I agree, each writing has a purpose. Each choice of a word crafts the meaning and the intention.
