It's Over

It wasn't that long ago when we were us
Then I guess you decided you'd had enough
Went and broke my heart into a million pieces
‘Cause ya gave up what we had for no good reason

Why does it hurt so bad to pass you on the street
Or when I see you with him, sharing your seat
But when it hurts the most is when I close my eyes
That's when it hits me and I realize- It's over

Feels cold in my place, probably ‘cause it's empty
I packed all of our things and took them with me
I don't know where I'm headed but I knew I had to go
One by one the things we shared are out there on this road

I went my separate way, made a mistake or two

Now it doesn't hurt so badly that you're out of my life
And I'm sharing that seat I saw with my own wife
When it used to hurt the most I had my eyes closed
But now they're open, I just thought you should know- It's over!
