Never again

When every moment felt like a decade,
Every word felt like a whisper,
Everyone around felt invisible,
              Every thought was carried to a far away memory,
Every second was too hard to live,
Everything around felt weirdly painful but beautiful,
Every inch of the body craved for something unknown,
                   Before I knew it,
              I had fallen in love….

Impossible as it may seem… and how wrong it appear,
Far away as it may have been… trying to reach closer,
When surrounded alone with all but barriers,
                     No matter how hard it was,
              I felt love….

Now that the end is near,
When the life within me keeps fading away,
Joy and happiness slowly dying away,
              When my heart feels no more at its place,
              When I know that, I would never bloom again,
                            I knew…, I was in love, once…
              But never again….
