The thrill of the hunt for bones so white, they blind. Scorch your eyes. They were all yellow lines of runners legs. So i took my time to watch, gaze at that beautiful race of yellow running through the streets, packed with green people. The blue sky with a yellow eye so high, draws a line among those racers with yellow bodies and black shoes. I watch and gaze with curiosity, as the red carpets roll out like tongues of giants on the grey tarmac, lined over with a layer of shining gold stars. Now gazing, with amazement at the seas of green. The oceans with waves of wind blowing through like a long roller coaster. Hike up top a dormant dragon, asleep for eons to remain. Gaze in amazement at the curvature of the blue sky. And gaze at the lines of yellow runners all with black shoes. Tonight, tonight I'm going home, back to the warm yellow carnations in the garden, and the small cottage, growing out of the well trodden earth. Tonight, I'm home. On the back of a yellow racer with black shoes. Gazing at the place I stood just moments ago. I see myself still standing among the green strangers on those red tongues. Walking on and on to nowhere. And I realize, I'm home. |
