Forget the truth, and whisper lies
Denial.

Forget the truth.

And whisper lies,

Like a song, sung only to yourself

Then soon you shall believe them,

And taste the bittersweet of denial.

Freeze over, become numb

As though you were ice, and have no feeling

Frozen you can forget the truth

And taste the bittersweet of denial.

Be silent; do not speak

Silence of the dead

Whose bones betray no secrets,

For eternity and forevermore, their lies shall stand

No longer can they taste the bittersweet denial.
