Under the same Blanket

So when I stepped out of my truck tonight
I looked up
Do you see the same stars I do
I looked down
I thought to myself
Pondered
Wondered
Do they see Orion or any of the dipper's?
I remembered the times when we had seen them together,
Then I imaginged it lasting forever.

Do you know what I know?
Do you see what I see?
As I ponder
I grow fonder,
Where will your little head lay today,
you are so far away.

I know what you said before you left
You know about people being surprised
            about what you had to say upon your return.
I imagine myself as one of those who will be torn
Just to see where my emotions are on the matter
My heart hurts, my brain chatters.
My faith says she loves you, my heart says becareful.
All you need to know is I trust You....no matter how scareful
I remember when you were cautious to give yourself to me in different ways,
I bet you thought I would not stay, or say, I actually am comfortable with that.

When you return we will talk about the great things 
              you experienced on your trip away,
But as for now I will just say
God Bless You my CoCo Love
