Today I Dream

I dream for the moments, never to pass me by.
I dream for eternity, never wanting to die.
I dream of love, only to be spent with you.
I dream of anothers’ shoes, looking for a different view.

I dream of acceptance, just wanting to be me.
I dream of dreams to set me free.
But how can I face the world today?
When in my dreams is where I want to stay.

So out of my dreams I emerge on the scene,
Only to be thrown off by everyday routine.
Reality is great, but as it may seem,
To get through it alive, you just need to dream.
