A sample of a short story I'm currently working on. Reviews Wanted!
The howling wind sent chills through the two men despite the thick winter clothing each man had on.  They could of been brothers they so closely resembled each other the main difference being the younger of the two was slightly taller with freshly shaved head and goatee and mustache with dark brown skin, while the older one had a full head of curly grayish black hair a full beard and mustache and much lighter skin.
The younger man looked out at the storm, wondering when it would end and already regretting the fifteen mile drive into town that would take an hour with the highways iced over and packed with drivers.
"I knew I should of called in sick today" he said, shooting the ongoing storm a disgusted look.
"It could be worse you know" the older man next to him stated in a cheery voice.
"Oh, and hows that?" he replied
"Well, you could of been stuck in this shit at home not getting paid"
"I'd rather not get paid, than freeze my ass off so some fat ass somewhere won't come up a steak or two short at some buffet line somewhere."
"Well son, I think I'm gonna head back inside and warm up." the older man said in an off hand manner while rubbing his hands together.
"Ok, I'll be back inside in a bit."
"Gonna smoke?"
With one eyebrow arched shooting his father a wary look "Maybe, what's it matter?" he replied defensively.
"Oh nothing I'm just gonna have to warn my crew to keep clear of you." nodding his head in mock disappointment. "It really is a shame. I'd of never thought it of my own son!"
"What's that?"
"I'm pretty sure they'd be uncomfortable around you knowing your gay."
"What the fuck, how you figure I'm gay?!"
"Well, you do have that nasty habit of sucking down fags several times a day."
"Oh, HA HA HA very funny, don't you got someplace to be?"
"Yeah, but I'm in no hurry."
It was an ongoing argument between the two of them that had lasted years and had turned into a kind of link between the two, giving them something to talk to each other about.  Both were men who disliked wasting words in idle chatter but both made an effort to be sociable to each other for the sake of the common blood shared by them.
