Innocence Lost

Them, them, don't they see
My innocent smile?

Don't they know I'm only a child?
At the age of five, my mind goes over them

They grab me and sit me on their laps
And kiss me and paw me

They give me money and they call me honey
Why?

What have I done?
I'm only a child

The tears sting the heart and soul
Of this beautiful innocent child

Myself gone
Taken away at a very young age

Each year my body
And spirit endures

Pain and guilt and shame
Foiled by evil desires of them

The beautiful innocent child cries, cries
Please God, remember me, remember me

Pure and clean
Hear my plea and have mercy on me
