Such a gift...

I do not call myself a poet
For I don’t believe myself worthy
Of such a title and honour.

A poet sees, lives and breathes poetry
Knows it from the bottom of their heart
Feels it from the depths of their soul.

Such a gift, is the gift of the poet to the reader
Beautiful, meaningful words
A look at timeless beauty.

A glance at their soul, pure beauty
Sheer talant and wisdom
The greatest teachers we have.

Oh how i envy you, you poet
How you're able to show you're soul in words
And how you make me think in poetry.
