A master artist paints the world and leaves behind a trail,

made up of drops of paint that drip out from the painter's pail.

His paint drops make the flowers glow and glisten in the dew.

He colors trees, then fills them up with birds to sing for you.

The tiny drops paint all the bugs and beasts of every kind.

The biggest drops fill starry skies that overwhelm your mind.

Babbling brooks get painted in with soft moss covered sides.

Our country hills with winding roads, all show the painter's pride.

While nature's colors made from drops do flavor what we see.

We're humbled most by just the thought, he's painting you and me.
