I wrote this facing a struggle in life that whether they fight it or not, everyone faces.
It all comes down to this
The drenched devil dancing indecent acts in my mind
Setting the chemical imbalance
Waging a war deep in my chest
Of inclinations rooted beyond my body’s will

Cast down into the tongues
The only way I can be more dangerous to everyone but myself
Is to face the flame, face the heat, face my death.
And let the hammer mold me into the perfect cure

It all comes down to this
A flame, a struggle, a victor
Only I can choose the outcome
To a battle that’s already been won

The wages hang from my heart
When my intentions are confronted by my faith
Nausea floods the back of my throat
As the fibers of my interests are torn from each other
