This poem is to my ex. It's not very good, in the beginning stages, I'd love suggestions.
You called me a bitch.
The word sounds hard, and clipped.
Your voice was filled with malice,
And no matter how mean you are to me, my emotions just won't callus.
I just said what I think,
And your frusturation obviously reached it's brink.

You know, patience is a virtue.
What, are you afraid I'm going to hurt you?
Well I'm not (even though you'd deserve it).
So come over here boy, go ahead and sit.

I guess you just assumed you had me all figured out.
Sweet, outspoken, easily fooled... You didn't think I'd ever have a doubt.
Well honey you were wrong.
I can't believe it took me so long!
And even though I still have feelings for you,
I want to give a little insight to my homegirls, the knowledge they're entitled to.
I want them to know that you'll never be fair.
They deserve to know that you're a straight-up player.

Fortunately for you, there are ladies who can take that.
Unfortunately, I'm a lady who HATES that.
So I hope you understand, that though I'd never wish bad things,
I'm counting down till the timer rings.
I don't see the harm of
Anxiously awaiting your well-deserved karma.
