...........................
The last thing that I can remember
Was the way you looked to me
Like I was the only one you could ever need
Somehow you took me by the hand
Led me to places I couldn't understand
You looked beyond my past knew it couldn't last
Saw me reaching out for you
You broke through as only you could do
I caved in buried myself in you

Never realizing it was all just a game you played
Never seeing you were the master of disbelieving
Before we lose all the meaning
Tell me why it's so real this time
Been here so many times
I am still unable to find
What’s been going through your mind
You say that you love me
I am the only one you could ever need
Yet you run from one to another
And laugh as my heart bleeds

The only thing I've learned about you
With your heart ever evolving
You can only be true to you
With me just another memory
