Sometimes I feel at a disadvantage
Like no matter what I do or say or how hard I try
It will never compare being right by your side

Sometimes I feel lonely and broken hearted
In everything I do, from studying for tests to working out at the gym
I see your face in my rear view mirror
each day I drive home

Sometimes I worry about you and call out your name
But that may sound silly since you're so many miles away
Doing whatever brings you a smile or keeps you busy
and isn't it funny how I'm thinking about you now

Sometimes I feel may seem childish in how excited I get when you call
But your sweet voice sounds like whispers to my heart
Even if you're too busy, I treasure every minute
because you don't have any idea of how much I am in love with you!

Sometimes my patience wears thin and I remain frustrated alone
waiting for the moment you will have time for me or even answer my call.
Living this life with a love preserved and tailored for your heart
drives me up the wall and downtown without a car.

Sometimes my heart is ready to explode in excitement
Anticipating everyday I am blessed into a new morning with new ideas
and ways I'd romance and expose the most beautiful parts of me
with the woman of my spirit, my mind, and body.
