I Am Choking

I am choking on my tears,
trying to push away these fears.

I am choking, my stomach is sick,
Does our candle still have a lit wick?

I am choking on my verbal speech,
Nervously hoping, to you, it will reach.

I am choking from the arms around my neck,
The friends I had wanted me to be a wreck.

Goodbye to all of the half hearted smiles,
I was choking when they wanted to reconcile.

I am choking, it seems it's my last breath while I'm suffocating,
But I'm still breathing shallowly, because my will won't stop fading.
