Cries

Why when I cry do you not hear
Can you not see my visible tear?
Yet you ignore and close your eyes
Are you not listening out for my cries?
I sit and weep hoping someone might come
Anyone, but no
I am still alone, feeling low
Crying for help, my emotionless face
Yet the tears are quickening their pace
Falling from my blood shot eyes
No one is hearing my cries
Desperately I try to speak
Yet no words come, not one nor two
There is nothing that I can do
Because I simply cannot explain
No one could ever understand my pain
Pain invisible, unlike my tears
Inside I have been screaming for what seems like years
But no one comes, even though the tears fall
No longer can I stand up tall
Trying to convey through my tearful eyes
But no one can hear my silent cries.
