beautiful depravity...
How do you help the helpless?
Don’t bother, it’s hopeless.

Once I saw crimson streams
I learned to stifle my screams.

Darkness camouflaged with a smile,
A habit I know they’ll think vile.

My own secret, invigorating escape;
A deadly addiction takes shape.

It’s easy to hide when you’re already forgotten,
When nobody wants you, you’re the apple that’s rotten.

Nobody ever saw how deep it was when I cried,
Tears can be easily concealed if you’re on the outside.

A child left alone feeling forsaken
Is now all grown up and left shaken.

The older I get my heart becomes disgustingly clad,
This overwhelming urge is getting so bad.

To lose all the breathe and color of life,
I can end it now with the blade of this knife.

Close my eyes as the pain diminishes,
Only moments now until life my finishes.
