The Price Was Paid

The Price was paid for you and me
The sin is washed away
And this sin will never come back
To haunt us another day

Jesus Christ my Savior
Shed His blood for me
He died so I could see Heaven
And someday that’s what I’ll see

He had the cross upon His back
The blood streaming down His cheek
Although he died He is the strongest
And we will always be the weak

I thank Him everyday
For the gift of life He gave
For dying on the cross
For us He wanted to save

Remember that He’s the One
Who made the sun and moon
Remember that He said
He’ll be coming back to Earth soon

So let Him fill your heart
Let Him fill it full of love
Let Him keep you close to Him
In the Heavenly place above
